Entrée: Stuffed Cabbage Casserole

Cabbage Heads4
Ground Beef4 lbs.
Onions, chopped4
Minute Rice1 1/3 cups
Tomato Sauce4 cans
Water1 1/3 cups

  1. Preheat oven to 350oF.
  2. Chop cabbage and lay in bottom of 9x13 pan.
  3. Saute ground beef with onion. Season with salt and pepper and add minute rice.
  4. Put meat mixture on top of cabbage. Top with tomato sauce.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes covered with foil and then continue uncovered for 30 minutes.

Dessert: Cinnamon Apples


IngredientQuantity
Apples, cored, peeled, sliced thin6
Cinnamon8 tsp.
Brown sugar4 cups
Lemon juice8 tsp.
Salt4 dashes
Nutmeg4 dashes
  1. Cut and peel apples.
  2. Mix in a pot with all other ingredients. Stir well.
  3. Cook covered on the stove for 45 minutes, stirring at least every 15.
  4. Once apples are soft, cook until sauce is thickened.
