Responsibilities of Officers and Members in the JHU Ballet Company for 2008-2009
All Active Members
- Vote on which pieces will be performed each semester. (The top two will have priority for company rehearsal time, and once those are completed the next down the line will have the company rehearsal time.)
- Must attend at least two classes per month (except when there is injury or illness).
- Must attend all required rehearsals if they are scheduled to perform in pieces.
- Have the right to choreograph pieces. If their pieces are not chosen for company rehearsal time, they are welcome to schedule rehearsals on their own time. We will do everything we can to try to allow everyone who wants to perform or choreograph to do so. All pieces must be approved by the officers and critiqued by the entire group before performance.
