"For everything there is a season, And a time for every matter under heaven... A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance" (Ecclesiates 3:1, 4)
This quote from the Bible summarizes my life and the reason why I love to dance. Having moved eight times in my life from Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Seattle, I've learned that as many times as I was hurt because of my broken family situation, God was and is faithful many more times than that. I found that there was purpose in life and a reason to live with joy, because I know I'm loved by my Creator. With all that I've gone through, I find so much life and joy in letting my life be a story, or one beautiful dance, that encourages those around me. I have been dancing since I was five years old and have been trained in lyrical and classical ballet--ranging from Chinese lyrical, contemporary lyrical ballet, to ballet en pointe. If you ever want to know more, I'd love to tell you more over coffee!
