Prospective Dancers

Please send an e-mail to ballet@jhu.edu if you are interested in becoming a part of our company. We have opportunities for dancers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced and pre-professional trained dancers.

During the fall and spring semesters, we teach classes at the Caplan Dance Studio of the Mattin Center (located at the Homewood Campus). We have intermediate/advanced classes on Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (with a pointe workout from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m.) Also, we have beginner/intermediate classes on Wednesdays from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Classes are open to all Hopkins affiliates, and they are taught by members of the company.

We also have performance opportunities. Rehearsals generally take place in the Caplan Dance Studio on Sunday afternoons during the fall and spring semesters, unless otherwise scheduled by the choreographer.
