Spyros Stamatelos was first author with Eugene Kim, Arvind Pathak and Aleksander Popel on the poster Characterization of the Heterogeneity of Tumor Vasculature using Hemodynamic Modeling and High Resolution Imaging Implications for Drug Delivery.
Esak Lee honored at 5th Annual Safeway Breast Cancer Retreat, the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University
"Runner Up" Poster Award was presented to Esak Lee who was first author with Niranjan Pandey and Aleksander Popel on the poster titled "Lymphatic endothelial cells (LEC) induce angiogenesis in axillary and brachial lymph nodes in breast cancer."
Stacey Finley selected to receive conference travel award
A travel award was presented to Stacey Finley to attend the SIAM (Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics) Life Sciences Conference in San Diego, August 7-10, 2012. Stacey will give an oral presentation entitled "Multiscale modeling of breast cancer angiogenesis with therapeutic applications". Dr. Aleksander Popel is senior author on the abstract.
