Animal Resources is responsible for the daily care of research animals at Johns Hopkins University. All animals for use in research at Johns Hopkins are purchased through the Animal Resources office. Animal Resources personnel can also assist you with technical aspects of animal research, such as appropriate use of anesthetics. Animal Resources provides transport for animals, health certificates and veterinary services for sick animals.

The Animal Resources office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The office is closed on weekends and all university holidays. After hours, leave an appropriate message in voice mail system and the call will be returned as soon as possible.
