The Office of Academic Advising provides resources for Arts and Sciences and Engineering students who need academic assistance. Academic success at Hopkins requires effective study skills, good time management, and strong organizational techniques. Students enter college with varying levels of these skills, and we offer many supporting programs to help develop these skills further. Tutoring Tutoring services are available to all Hopkins students during the academic year. (For summer resources, please stop by the advising office for information.) The programs are designed for students who want to help themselves. Tutoring is not a substitute for class participation or course work. Study Consulting The Study Consultant Program is designed for undergraduate students at JHU who desire to strengthen their academic skills, fulfill their potential or are having difficulty adjusting to the increased demands of college.
