How to insert an external WAV file

If you already have a pre-existing WAV file and would like to insert it in your PowerPoint presentation, please follow the procedure outlined below:

• Start PowerPoint and open the presentation you wish to insert the file into. If you are creating a new presentation, then first enter all the textual and graphic content and then proceed with the insertion.
• Select the slide you want to insert the WAV file to. Once selected, click on the Insert tab on the toolbar above. From there, click on the little arrow under the "Sound" button, and a menu will pop up. Then select "Sound from File...".
