While converting PowerPoint presentations into Impatica
files, a common problem that a lot of professors have faced is a
degradation in the volume of the sound files associated with each slide.
To counter this problem, we recommend that, to begin with, while recording
the sound, you should raise the bar for your microphone settings. If
however, this is insufficient, then you must raise the volume of each and
every sound file manually.
There are various software programs which will allow you
to do this, many of which are available for free download over the
internet. For information and documentation on which program is best for
your particular needs please contact us at

suitable audio editor but need assistance in manually adjusting the volume
of your sound files. Since the specifics of this process are largely
situation specific, we will deal such requests on a case by case basis.
If you know of any other online resource that would be useful
to other instructors, please contact Joe Newcomer at jnewcomer@jhu.edu
