Rape Aggression Defense (RAD)
 


 

The RAD system is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women.  The RAD system is a comprehensive women-only course with the instructional objective “To develop and enhance the options of self-defense, so they may become viable considerations to the woman attacked.”  The program includes crime prevention awareness, risk reduction/ avoidance, and basic self-defense techniques.  RAD is not a martial arts program and no prior training or knowledge is required to attend the class.  Women of all ages and fitness levels can participate in the class.  RAD is a 12 hour course consisting of four, 3 hour classes.  Class size is limited to 20 students and there is no cost to attend.

RAD comes with a lifetime return and practice policy, where once you complete the course, you may attend any additional RAD classes free of charge.

The class is offered by Campus Safety and Security with the next classes scheduled for:
