Faculty Position in Nanophase Materials and Thin Films


The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the areas of nanostructured materials or thin films. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an innovative research program and to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Applicants should have a PhD in materials science and engineering or related field and must have demonstrated ability to undertake interdisciplinary research. Post-doctoral experience is highly desirable. It is anticipated that the appointment will be at the assistant professor level although an appointment at the associate or full professor level will be considered.
