    1. Voluntary Termination*
      1. JHU student who graduated
      2. Accept another position
      3. Personal
      4. Job abandonment
      5. Resignation (Insufficient notice)
      6. Return to school
      7. Health
      8. Moving out of area
      9. Dissatisfaction with JHU employment (salary, hours, supervisor, job responsibilities, etc.)
      10. Other reason
    2. Involuntary Termination*
      1. Failed to perform the job as assigned
      2. Lack of funds to support position
      3. Job abolished/assignment completed/termination of appointment
      4. Visa Expiration
      5. Conduct inconsistent with University policy and/or procedures
      6. Health
      7. Termination -- not eligible for COBRA benefits (determination to be reviewed with staff of divisional human resources office, Benefits Administration, and General Counsel's office).
      8. Other reason
    3. Other Termination*
      1. Early retirement
      2. Normal retirement
      3. Postponed retirement
      4. Disability retirement
