This week at Hopsfa we have three infinitely important tasks to take care of:  
Hopsfa Board Elections, Scurvy Awareness Day prep and Dragon Con.

Election will take place at the beginning of the meeting.  Any member in good 
standing can come and vote on next years board.  After elections we have to 
prepare for Scurvy Awareness Day.  This Friday is the second annual observance of 
Scurvy Awareness Day.  Time for the Fen to take to the breezeway to hand out 
slices of lime and green ribbons to help stop the scourge that is Scurvy.  This 
Thursday we will be making signs and pinning yellow and green ribbons in 
preperation for scurvy awareness day.  

Finally, Hopsfa is planning a trip to DragonCon.  For those of you who don't 
know, DragonCon is the largest Sci-Fi and Fantasy Con in the US.  This year the 
con is September 3-6.  The cost will be approximately $90 for badge and hotel 
room for the weekend.  If you are interested, send me an e-mail ASAP.
