Greetings!

      First off, thanks to everyone that helped at the Student Activities Fair.  
And to all of our new people, welcome to the Hopkins Science Fiction 
association!  Don't be scared, we very rarely bite these days.

     Our first official meeting of the year will be the traditional HopSFA 
Scavenger Hunt.  Yay!  (Hey, you people groaning in the back, I can see who you 
are.  Stop that!)  A quick run down of the rules:
1) There are 69 items on the scavenger hunt.  (heheh, 69-we're clever)
2) You will have an hour to search
3) Your entire group must stay together the whole time
4)  Each group will be accompanied by a board member.  Feel free to bribe 
you're board member for help:)  Food bribes are strongly recommended.  
5) You can only use 3 books or printouts from the Internet as items.  This does 
not include items that are specifically books (i.e., if the Monstrous Manual 
were an item, bringing that in would not count as one of your three)  

    We will be meeting in the Little Theater in Levering at 8 p.m. this 
Thursday.  (New people-walk in the front door of Levering.  There is a stair case up 
to the Little Theater to the left of the information desk)  This will be 
HopSFA's LAST meeting in the Little Theater.  
 
    Also, HopSFA will be going to the Renaissance Festival Saturday, September 
21st!  More info later.
