Graduated from Bates College with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2003
Joined the lab in the Fall of 2003
Interests lie in Surface Chemistry utilizing gas phase ions and radicals.
Currently working on: oxidation of nitrogen implanted films; the formation of carbon nitride thin films; electron beam induced deposition of metallic structures.

I attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA and graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies - Chemistry. My interests include environmental interfaces and plasma processes as studied by atomic force mircroscopy and sum frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy. I am currently studying the reactivity of atomic oxygen with carbonaceous and semi-fluoronated substrates.
