Residential Life
Where will I live? How will I make friends? What will the food be like?

These are some of the many questions high school students have when they start to plan to go away to college. Rest assured, you are not the only one with a few jitters about going away to school. Check out the links below to find out more about living at Hopkins and about how freshmen become acclimated through our orientation programs.

Orientation—this website is updated each June with information for freshmen entering in the fall. If you are an international student, check in with the International Students Services office.

Housing—find out about housing options both on-campus and off-campus. Hopkins guarantees housing for all freshmen and sophomores.

Dining Services—all you need to know about flex-dollars, meal plans, vegetarian or kosher options, and more.

Health and Wellness—staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners and nurse midwives.

Homewood Security—for information on campus escort services, shuttle services and crime prevention. You can also view the daily incident report or view the annual security report for the Homewood campus.

Disability Services—policies and accommodations.

Campus Ministries—information about faith-based groups and activities on campus.
